Monaco — Business: Annual Compliance

Monegasque companies must adhere to strict annual corporate maintenance and tax compliance procedures. All commercial entities registered with the Trade and Industry Registry (RCI) are legally required to compile and file annual financial statements, including a balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and management report, signed by a qualified accountant. Non-trading companies (SCIs) must file an annual confirmation statement within one month of their registration anniversary. Furthermore, corporate income tax returns must be filed with the Department of Tax Services within three months after the close of the fiscal year for companies subject to the Business Profit Tax (IBS).
